Hyundai Venue new facelift is launching soon, price is 4 lakh only

Hyundai Venue new facelift: Hyundai has applied its latest “Sensuous Sportiness” design philosophy, resulting in the most dramatic changes at the front of the Venue.

The revised front end boasts a new signature look, with enlarged, aggressive grille parametric pattern.

These are above a new pair of horizontal LED daytime running lights that span the front end of the vehicle like a light bar, adding a wider and more sophisticated look.

The primary headlamp units, situated lower down the bumper than before, remain vertical but feature revised internal components for better illumination.

A reshaped front bumper gains more prominent air curtains as well as a newly styled skid plate element that helps deepen the SUV’s rugged character.

Around back, connected LED taillights form a full-width light bar in a way similar to Hyundai’s larger SUVs, creating a family design language.

The rear end is redesigned and sports new reflector elements, as well as a lower section in silver that mirrors the front skid plate, giving visual coherence to both ends of the vehicle.

The exterior refresh is rounded out by new alloy wheel designs, available in 15- and 16-inches depending on trim level, as well as expanded color options such as two-tone combinations on higher-end versions.

Upgraded Interior and Tech

Hyundai Venue new facelift- Inside, the Venue still features a practical layout, albeit a much more meaningful step up in materials and technology.

Continuing its horizontal orientation, the dashboard features a centrally mounted touchscreen that expands to 10.25 inches on higher trims.

Materials quality has improved significantly, bringing soft-touch surfaces and better upholstery options throughout the range.

On premium specifications, the instrument relies on a fully digital 10.25-inch display, allowing for plenty of customization and a wider variety of information to be shown.

Connectivity is also a major focus for the Ioniq 5, with some 60 features available via Hyundai’s latest iteration of its BlueLink connected car tech, including the likes of remotely starting the engine, pre-conditioning the climate to deal with different conditions, and tracking the vehicle.

For example, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration and a wireless charging pad free up drivers from the hassle of tangle-free cables, and the newer climate control system now includes air-purifiers technology with air quality indication — especially beneficial for people who live in urban areas.

Enhanced Safety Features

Safety tech gets some big upgrades too, with additional advanced driver assistance systems that were not even on the Venue before. The SmartSense safety suite has been expanded to add:

Forward Collision-avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection

—— Lane Keeping Assist and Lane Following Assist

Blind-Spot Collision Warning

Rear Cross-Traffic Alert

Driver Attention Warning

These features go a long way toward improving the Venue’s safety cred, while also giving a helping hand on a daily basis.

Classic but Updated Adventures

Hyundai Venue new facelift- Powertrain options for the Venue are largely unchanged from the previous model, with the same market-specific options available:

The 1.0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder gasoline engine (120 hp/172 Nm)

A 1.2-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder gasoline engine (83 hp/114 Nm)

A 1.5-liter diesel engine (100 hp/240 Nm) is also present on some markets

The engines themselves carry over, although there are calibration refinements for improved responsiveness and efficiency, particularly on the turbocharged variant mated to the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

It gets recalibrated dampers and bushings that promise a more comfortable ride without sacrificing handling stability.

There’s subtle improvement in steering feel through revised electronic assistance, but orientation remains that of best use at the urban commute end of the dial.

Urban Practicality Maintained

The Venue’s sub-4-meter compact dimensions (read: typically under 4000mm in length, depending on market specifications) remain a boon in congested urban areas.

With a wide turning radius of about 5.1 meters, you can confidently maneuver the city streets and adjacent / sub floors of parking spaces.

Interior space is efficiently laid out as there is enough room for four adults and equipment even with the small footprint of the spy-snatcher.

Cargo capacity remains unchanged at about 350 liters with all seats in place, increasing substantially when the back seats are down.

Hyundai Venue new facelift: Market Positioning

Updated for 2024, the Venue joins an ever-swelling throng of competitors with nearly every mainstream automaker now seeing fit to add at least one utility offering cut from this cloth.

In response, Hyundai has played up the Venue’s looks, tech integration, and feature content and avoided the game of directly matching every competitor specification.

The whole strategy places the Venue as a style-oriented but sensible proposition for the urban professional type needing SUV practicality without the size and cost of larger models.

The Venue slots relatively clear below the Creta/ix25 (depending on the market), while still providing enough differentiation from the other new additions to Hyundai’s growing SUV portfolio.

With these changes, the Hyundai Venue is set to maintain its competitiveness in a strongly contested segment, providing a stylish, tech-forward, practical option that should still cater to buyers seeking an all-round urban multi-utility vehicle.
