Tata Nexon 2025 THE DARK SIDE- THE EVOLUTION OF EXTERIOR DESIGN
Tata Nexon 2025 The Midnight Black version of Nexon gives the vehicle an all-black treatment that is applied across the front and rear upper grill accents, side beltline, roof and the outside rearview mirrors.
The exterior adopts a high-gloss Midnight Black paint, combined with a special “satin” surface treatment that doesn’t reflect light like gloss paint, but adds a touch of elegance while also minimising the appearance of dust and scratches.
All exterior brightwork is replaced with black-metal finishes for a more sinister, urban look that suits the car perfectly.

At the rear, the darkened LED taillamps are finished in a smoked lens treatment, preserving the vehicle’s battle-ready appearance, with a unique lighting signature after sundown.
The black skid plates at both ends get a hint of teal for character in the layout, which continues the accent color theme.

The darkness theme fantasy stays there and inside there’s a blackish cabin with nicely done design elements to ensure the car does not feel cramped.
The dashboard, door panels and seats are clad in deep black, and the seat cushions have a mix of higher-quality leatherette and an Alcantara-like material, offering improved tactile quality.
Breaking up the darkness are strategically placed teal accent stitching on seats, steering wheel, and gear knob, with satin chrome highlights on air vents, door handles and center console.
The fact that the headliner is light-coloured means that cabin never feels too claustrophobic, with the inside even gaining a premium contrast by this.
Ambient light has been added for the Midnight Black edition, including LED customizable elements in the foot-wells, door-panels and along the dashboard.
These can even be set to light up in different colors, but the default version is the familiar teal that also serves as a nice accent on the outside.

The Nexon Midnight Black is intended as the high-end offering in the Nexon range, offered only in the top-of-the-line Fearless+ trim.

The digital instrument cluster too gets a unique display theme with dark backgrounds and teal accents that are in line with the design language of the car.
The iRA features connected car technology such as remote start, geofencing, real-time vehicle tracking, and is capable of receiving over-the-air updates.
Other high-end goodies are the wireless charging pad, ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof with ambient lighting, the 9-speaker Harman Kardon audio system and an air purifier with AQI display.
There’s also the full ADAS safety suite of autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist and blind spot monitoring.

The Morning Black variant comes in with the Nexon’s most powertrains from Tata. Its entry-level engine is the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol direct-injection unit that belts out 125 PS and 225 Nm – it can be ordered with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual clutch.
